Morrigan Kinsington was a child of the upper class English society. Bred for a high-class life, her childhood was complete with etiquette and manners lessons every day from her parents and her nannies. Unfortunately their tutelage did little for the energetic little girl. Many of her caretakers quit after receiving any number of bruises from the wild, uncontrollable Morrigan, who would not only throw temper tantrums but throw punches too. This behavior extended into her school-life as well. By the age of 5 she was diagnosed as an ADHD child, with a distinct disrespect for all forms of authority; but even the mild sedatives they prescribed her (and later the less mild ones) did little to calm her down.
Her parents enrolled her in any number of activities, but the only one that stuck was martial arts and self-defense classes, which Morrigan refused to miss for any reason. Here she excelled, finding an outlet for her high amounts of energy, and something that truly exhausted her and allowed her to sleep in the evenings instead of at random intervals. By the time she was in high school she'd been suspended more times than she could count and expelled from 3 different schools, landing her in a private school. This did nothing to quell her temper and attitude, though she at least managed to graduate on time by attending extra classes all year round.
College allowed her a little more freedom to explore herself, and Morgan fell in love with journalism after landing a spot on the school paper. She seemed to calm down for a while, enough to excel even. When she graduated Oxford her parents were relieved (and not only because they had pulled many strings to get her there). Shortly after she graduated, Morgan gained notoriety as an investigative journalist by helping to catch a serial killer, her article went on to land her a number of jobs that blossomed into a full career that had her traveling around the world. She earned a reputation for being the first to the break on the most dangerous and exciting stories, often finding herself in the middle of warzones, scenes of mass murder, or terrorist attacks.
Presently, Morgan lives in New York City, where she hosts a Podcast on current events, freelances for several notable news outlets, and half-assedly writes a book in her down time.
